Mandatory note regarding Remuneration Regulation for Institutions (InstitutsVergV):

Under section 1, 1 b of the Banking Act, the Remuneration Regulation for Institutions requires all banks and financial services companies to publish details of their remuneration systems at least on their websites. As a result of our size and average total assets for the last three years, ABACUS Financial Services AG is not affected by the reporting requirements for major companies under section 1 of the Remuneration Regulation for Institutions. So a separate risk analysis is not required and sections 5, 6 and 8 of the Remuneration Regulation for Institutions do not apply. At ABACUS, management and employees receive fixed compensation that may be complemented by results and performance-based remuneration (variable remuneration).

Fixed salary

The base salary ensures basic compensation according to individual job descriptions and is intended to encourage long-term retention of employees. This makes sure that employees are not significantly dependent on variable remuneration and reduces incentives for taking excessive risks.

Variable remuneration

Results and performance-related compensation (variable remuneration) is based on the company’s success.
